Kendrick Lamar Drops 'Not Like Us' Music Video

Kendrick Lamar has released the highly anticipated music video for his hit song "Not Like Us," directed by Dave Free and Lamar himself. The video, shot in Lamar's hometown of Compton, showcases the rapper taking a victory lap for the West Coast, with several digs aimed at Drake and his OVO crew. It opens with Tommy the Clown leading Lamar into a metallic room, followed by a scene where Lamar does pushups on cinder blocks, referencing Drake's "Push Ups" track.

The video also features Lamar hitting an owl piñata, symbolizing Drake's OVO owl logo, with a humorous disclaimer stating, "No OVO hoes were harmed during the making of this video." The video includes cameos from Lamar's fiancée Whitney Alford and their two children, dancing in a living room. This personal touch contrasts sharply with Drake's previous diss track, "Family Matters," which mentioned Alford and suggested Dave Free fathered one of Lamar's children.

"Not Like Us" has become one of Lamar's biggest hits, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and dominating the summer music charts. The video solidifies Lamar's dominance in his ongoing feud with Drake and highlights his deep connection to his Compton roots.
