Man Joins Court Zoom While Driving With Suspended License

A Michigan state judge, Cedric Simpson, was left stunned when Corey Harris, charged with driving with a suspended license, joined his court hearing over Zoom while driving. Judge Simpson promptly revoked Harris' bond and ordered him to surrender to a local county jail the same day.

Harris has a pretrial hearing scheduled for June 5. The public defender representing Harris declined to comment, stating that the case is ongoing and they are allowing the legal process to proceed to ensure justice is served.
