OG Maco Passes Away at 32 After Succumbing to Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound

Rapper OG Maco has died at 32, weeks after sustaining a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The Atlanta artist, known for his viral hit "U Guessed It," passed away in a Los Angeles hospital on December 26.

Maco’s family had previously updated fans, stating he was in critical but stable condition, but his health worsened, and he fell into a coma.

Despite efforts to flush toxins from his system, doctors were unable to save him.

Maco’s career, which included his 2015 XXL Freshman Class recognition, faced setbacks due to a near-fatal car accident and a battle with necrotizing fasciitis, a flesh-eating disease. His family has yet to comment publicly on his passing.
