Pop Smoke Killer Says He's 'Not Sorry' For Rapper's Death

In a recent interview, Blockstar, one of the individuals involved in Pop Smoke's murder, stated that he doesn't regret the incident but wishes it never happened. He expressed that he is not sorry about the rapper's death, citing the influence of his upbringing where he was taught not to regret his actions. Blockstar, who was 15 at the time of the 2020 murder, was released from juvenile detention last week after serving a four-year sentence as part of a plea deal.

Blockstar's comments have drawn significant attention and criticism. He acknowledged sending condolences to Pop Smoke's family but stood by his actions, saying he doesn't regret anything. This comes after footage emerged of him trying to remove an ankle monitor shortly after his release.

Corey Walker, the only adult charged in the case, is awaiting trial, with jury selection set to begin on August 6 if no plea deal is reached. Pop Smoke, born Bashar Jackson, was killed during a home invasion in Hollywood Hills in February 2020. A 15-year-old has admitted to pulling the trigger and is expected to remain in a juvenile facility until the age of 25.
