DDG Urges More Streamers to Make Music: ‘We Would Take Over’

DDG believes more streamers should start making music, saying they have the potential to "take over" if they take it seriously.

In a recent interview with XXL, he expressed frustration at being one of the few content creators balancing both YouTube and a rap career.

“I hate being the only artist that’s doing both,” he said. “If it was more people that do that same thing as me, taking music serious, going on tour, doing things that artists do, we would take over.”

He also addressed recent controversy surrounding his collaboration with Tory Lanez, which led to criticism from Kendrick Lamar affiliate Hitta J3.

Despite the drama, DDG remains focused on his music and is currently working on a new project.
