Gillie Da Kid Identifies His Son’s Alleged Killer: ‘He Got Murdered Too’

In a recent interview with Shannon Sharpe on "Club Shay Shay," Gillie Da Kid revealed that his son's alleged killer was 17-year-old Noah Scurry, also known as drill rapper JokerOTV.

Gillie disclosed that he learned of Scurry's involvement after authorities informed him of Scurry's own death, stating, "The kid had just got shot 17 times.

He was walking with his mom and he got murdered.

And then the police notified me and let me know that he was one of the kids that was pretty much about to get locked up for the murder, but he got murdered first."

Scurry, a high school basketball star and straight-A student, was fatally shot in Philadelphia last month while walking to school with his mother.

Gillie believes that his son, Devin Spady (YNG Cheese), was not the intended target, explaining, "Those blocks are beefing. My son just happened to pull up, [he was] out there [for] five minutes. They come to shoot the block up.

My son’s not from that block; he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Reflecting on his relationship with his son, Gillie admitted, "I was struggling with my son, trying to get him off the streets.

We didn’t have the best relationship when he passed because he wanted to be a street n-gga and I didn’t believe in that shit. I didn’t subscribe to that shit."

Previously, Gillie shared the emotional experience of performing the Islamic burial ritual for his son, noting, "It was a gift and a curse... it was a very painful thing to see your son laying there, cold and stiff, but I know I sent him off right."
