Lefty Gunplay Arrested in Texas on Controlled Substance Charges

Lefty Gunplay, the Los Angeles rapper known for his work with Kendrick Lamar, was arrested in El Paso, Texas, on multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance.

He was booked on February 24 for carrying an unidentified substance between four and 200 grams, a charge that could carry up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Lefty also faced charges for not wearing a seatbelt and possessing a prohibited item in a correctional facility. He posted a $35,000 bond and was released the same day.
