Will Ferrell Covers Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us' During SNL 50th Anniversary Special

During Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary special, Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer reprised their roles as music teachers Marty and Bobbi Culp to perform a comedic rendition of Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us.
Ferrell introduced the performance by suggesting a reconciliation between "Kenny Lamar and Drake Graham," humorously noting, "Maybe you two can hug it out tonight in the name of love and fellowship. No? Not in hell. Message received."
The duo's cover included the provocative line, "Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophile," and extended Lamar's "A minor" taunt into an operatic segment. Additionally, they performed a brief cover of Doechii's Denial is a River from her Grammy-winning mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal.
Other notable performances during the special included Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean reuniting as two-thirds of the Fugees, and Lil Wayne delivering a medley of his hits.
While Kendrick Lamar did not attend the event, his recent Super Bowl halftime show, featuring appearances by SZA, Mustard, Serena Williams, and Samuel L. Jackson, garnered a record-breaking 133.5 million viewers, making it the most-watched Super Bowl show and U.S. TV broadcast in history.
