Steph Curry Trolled By Kendrick Lamar Fans After Showing His Distaste Of 'Not Like Us'
Stephen Curry has stirred up controversy among Kendrick Lamar fans after admitting he's tired of hearing Lamar's hit song "Not Like Us." The Golden State Warriors guard was overheard complaining about the Drake diss track during a warm-up session with Team USA teammates LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Curry's comment, "Damn with this song, it's not the only song in America," did not sit well with Kendrick's fans, who flooded Curry's Instagram with comments defending the track and quoting its lyrics.
LeBron James, who has shown support for Kendrick in his feud with Drake, responded to Curry by saying, "Personally, I love it." The song continues to dominate, recently returning to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and breaking records, including being the fastest hip hop track to surpass 500 million streams on Spotify.
Music industry veterans like Jermaine Dupri and DJ Jazzy Jeff weighed in on the song's impact, noting that such widespread influence is rare in today's music landscape. Meanwhile, fellow NBA star Kevin Durant defended Curry, suggesting he might simply want to hear another song.
