Playboi Carti has officially confirmed that his long-awaited album I AM MUSIC will be released on March 14.

After years of teasing and scrapped release dates, the rapper finally made the announcement on March 12, simply tweeting "FRIDAY" and later reinforcing the news in a video posted to Instagram.

Ahead of the reveal, Carti cleared his Instagram account and teased fans with a Spotify video trailer and billboards in Times Square that read "streets ready."

The album, first teased in 2020, is expected to touch on themes of love, sex, and personal struggles, with Carti previously hinting at discussing his mental health journey and rehab.
