TDE’s Punch Says Kendrick Lamar Cut Harsher Drake Disses From “Euphoria”

Top Dawg Entertainment president Terrence “Punch” Henderson recently revealed that Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Euphoria” originally included even harsher lines aimed at Drake.
In a new interview, Punch said the first version of the song was much longer and more aggressive.
He advised Kendrick to tone it down and remove certain bars to avoid long-term consequences.
While the released version of “Euphoria” still packed a punch, Punch explained that the unreleased lyrics could’ve caused serious damage.
He said the decision was made out of caution, to avoid creating fallout that could extend beyond the music.
The revelation shows how calculated Kendrick’s approach has been—intense, but still measured.
