Drake Confirms New Album in the Works, Shuts Down Celebrity Boxing Match Rumors

Drake has announced he’s working on a new solo album, just weeks after dropping $ome $exy $ongs 4 U with PARTYNEXTDOOR.

During a livestream with Adin Ross, he described the upcoming project as “a slap” and confirmed it will have no guest features.

When asked about doing a celebrity boxing match, Drake shut it down immediately, saying “no” with a dismissive look.
He added that if a fight ever happened, it would be private—“at [Hollywood] Hino’s gym or something like that — behind closed garage doors.”

This comes amid continued tension with Kendrick Lamar.
West Coast rapper Glasses Malone recently claimed Kendrick “really wants to kick [Drake's] ass” and doesn’t let things go easily.

A public boxing match between the two seems unlikely, but fans are still buzzing over the idea of a private showdown.
