Playboi Carti’s Album “MUSIC” Set to Break Records in Spotify Opening Week

Playboi Carti's album "MUSIC" released on March 14, 2025, and achieved over 139 million Spotify streams on its first day. This makes it the highest single-day streaming debut for any album in 2025 and among the top seven highest in Spotify history.

The album features collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Young Thug, and The Weeknd. It blends classic Atlanta rap with industrial synths and electropop influences.

Despite initial delays and mixing issues, the album has maintained strong streaming numbers. It includes reworked versions of previous singles, such as "Evil J0rdan," which gained traction on TikTok.

"MUSIC" continues to perform well and is on track for one of the most successful opening weeks for a rap album.
